Star Wars has the Force!
I enjoyed the orchestra, but didn't actually know what to expect going in. The movie selections were cool, but did not follow any linear pattern. I think that being a Lumin event, an franchise spanning 42 years, that they might be able to recruit more of the cast to assist in the hosting. Others scenes and music selections worked very well as they were character specific and could jump around with out regard to specific movie. While Anthony Daniels was great, he only managed to whet my appetite for more of the innumerable characters from the six films.
Great show! The orchestra was flawless and sounded fantastic. I really loved it, but before considering a ticket, remember, it's really about the magic of John Williams, which was presented with the utmost respect. Incredible music and giant screen back drop was crystal clear even from the cheap seats. Especially in such a scene specific case such as this. The prop and costume displays around the theater were liked, but circum-navigating the Honda Center to see them was a bit lengthy. They certainly had no lack of space to display. May the force be with you, always.
